Most of my mom clients are just like me – chill and here for the memories. One of my favorite expectations from moms is this – we just want you to capture our little family in our home – no props, no fuss. In home newborn photo sessions are my favorite because I get to capture this beautiful time in your life in your baby’s first home. It’s so surreal to be invited into your home and allowing me to do what I love to do – capture you and your baby and really show off your connection.

Aisling and her husband invited me with open arms into their home. They were so kind and laid-back, which helps make the photo session run smoothly. The connection they have with their newborn was such a beautiful thing to watch. Dad was super attentive to their newborn, Mac. From kisses, to cuddles to snuggles – Dad showered Mac with lots of love. Mom was just as amazing – so in tune with all of Max’s needs. This little guy barely fussed and I swear it’s because he could feel the parent’s calm energy.

Then comes Chapo, their family dog. Throughout the session I called him El Chapo because I’m Mexican and why not LOL! Although he was anxious during the newborn photo session, he still did such an amazing job showering his little brother with love. And of course, dad made sure that Chapo was also shown love.
