Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens Wedding | Palm Beach Wedding Photographer

Here is a peek at one of my favorite weddings. This wedding took place at Morikami Musem and Japense Garden in Delray Beach. What started off as a humid and rainy day, turned into a beautiful, sunny day. Can you believe the sun came out right before the first look.

Kelsey and Matt hired me because of my style – my style of candid photography and true-to-tone colors. They were married a few months prior to their actual wedding day, so their wedding was a big celebration between family and friends.

Their wedding day started with a first look in which Kelsey wanted to keep it non-traditional – meaning she waited until she was ready and then told him to turn around. Matt beamed with love and a look of “that’s my wife!” that all brides hope for. Because they wanted to keep the wedding about their family and friends, we took formal photos before the ceremony so that they could get right into dancing after their ceremony. Their ceremony was held right next to the beautiful lake as the sun went down. After that, it was all fun with this couple. They are high school sweethearts and it was such a beautiful time to hear stories about the beginning of their love story. Their friends cried with joy and happiness while watching the bride and groom exchange vows and introduced as Mr and Mrs.

Shooting this wedding was a complete joy and I was so honored to be part of their wedding day. Cheers, to Kelsey and Matt!
